The cottage is almost at the end of the road making this cottage very cozy and peaceful. Cottage is equipped with all the comforts of home including a well stocked kitchen for all of your needs. There is a beautiful new deck for relaxing and a fire pit for nice evening camp fires and smores. The cottage has 100 feet of lake front property with a nice dock and mooring for your own boat. The cottage sit on the bay with a nice sandy bottom, just step off the shore or use the ladder on the dock. Camp Petosega is just down around the shore a ways with another nice sandy beach that is open to campers and the public. The cottage is on Pickerel Lake which is also connected to the famous Inland Lakes Waterways. The Inland Lakes Waterways is a chain of lakes that include Crooked Lake, Burt Lake and Mullet Lake. Leave the dock and travel all the way to Cheboygan on Lake Huron, lots of wild life to see and fish to be caught.

Enjoy swimming in the warm water since this shallow lake heats up early when compared with deeper local lakes or the Great Lakes. Pull your chairs up to the break-wall and watch the kids or grand kids play in the water. The water is shallow and just a couple steps down from the lawn. The lake bottom here has no rocks or weeds, but does have clay in sections. Dock will always be in the water between Memorial Day and Labor Day each year, possibly also earlier or later in the year depending on weather. Located 15 minutes from Downtown Petoskey and 20 minutes from Boyne Highlands or Nubs Nob. Big enough for multiple familes, this house can easily save you thousands compared with hotel rooms at nearby resorts. For winter guests, just park in the garage and don't worry about scraping your cars from snow and ice. As you can see from the picture of the outside, this home has two sides which are connected with a short, wide hall. Upstairs on one side has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, including the master bedroom and bathroom, a room with a queen and a crib, another room with a queen, as well as another full bath. Downstairs you will find another bedroom with a queen, a full bath, the kitchen, two dining spaces, a living room and a family room with a wood burning fireplace and large TV. The other side of the house has a great room on the main floor that is large enough to fit two full sized couches, an armchair, a TV with XBox 360, and a ping pong table with plenty of space to move around. The main living spaces have ceiling fans, oscillating fans and/or box fans. Our family has an F1b Goldendoodle that is in the home with us on occasion. While this is a hypoallergenic breed of dog that does not upset the pet allergies of the homeowners, and the home is thoroughly cleaned between guests, we want potential guests to be aware in the event you may still have concerns.
